My life, in two paragraphs or less... Not possible, but i will manage to let you in on the basics. I was born and raised in Del mar, California. I lived in the same house for fourteen years, which was a nightmare, if you can believe it. For six years I use to share a bedroom with my older brother and "he" was the boss. Being the younger sibling does not always have it's advantages. You aslo have to take into cosideration the fact that we lived on an island, or at least it felt like it. It's a little funny actually, the closest neighbor we had was about fifteen minutes away. I had to come up with things to do on my own, besides fight with my brother. When I was younger I had this fascination with reading books beacause it was the only way for me to get out of my house, so to speak. It was another world for me. When your young what else do you have to keep yourself occupied with: T.V., friends, and school. When I was old enough to go to the cinema with my friends, movies became my new drug. I never really gave it much thought about giving acting a chance. Imagining what it would be like to be that person on the screen, to have that life, car, superpower, whatever it was, was enough satisfaction for me. In highschool all that I was interested in was drawing;art was my passion. Anything and everything I could possibly do to get my hands on any project. Painting, drawing, sculpting, you name it. My brother would tell me that one day he was going to act, but his dream was never realized. Of course I never realized that I would be pursuing that same dream in the future. I gratuated highschool and moved on to college, Palomar College to be exact. I thought that maybe there I could figure out what proffession was in store for me. What would be my calling, my destiny, my... What? The first year in college I thought I could do it all. I had a full time job managing a theater, I went to school full time( five classess-15 units), attempted to do my homework, and I had to find the time to have somewhat of a social life.(Props to all the people out there who can do it.)I could not manage. (Fresh out of highschool you want to take a break right? Not every one out there knows what they want to do. It's like were programed to go to school, we've been doing it since we were children it seems natural to go to college straight out of highschool.) First went homework and then went school. I had no choice but to drop half my classes because I was already failing. The semster ended on a bad note, so I took the next semester off and went back to work. When I went back to school the following year I would be ready. This time I would only take three classes and pace myself. That's when it happened, I was bitten. By this little bug by the name of Theater 100. After the first class I knew that this is what I wanted to persue. After the five month class was over I was asked if I wanted to be involved in a production that was going to be written, directed, and performed by students at the college, I said sure, why not, i'll give a try. I was hooked like bait. I performed in five shows in a years span and it was an amazing experience, not only working with the other actors, but actually getting a feel for theater and performaning as an actor. It's not easy. It may look like it but it's not. I have learned many things in theater classes but I have yet to learn everything else there is to know about acting and people in general. As of this moment I will be continuing college at Palomar, finishing my studies this semester and receiving an A.A. in theater. Im also interested in taking fashion classes,( I design my own clothes and I make jewelry) it's always good to have a backup plan, j.i.c. Once i'm done here with school in San Diego I plan on making my way up to L.A. or as I like to call it L.A. L.A. land. Allz good for know, keep truckn' and hopefully i'll be hearing from somebody, somewhere, sometime?
